Extension of the Major Dedicated Transit Corridor (MDTC) along Route 4 within the Haifa metropolitan area through the grade separation of the MATAM intersection, a critical and high-traffic junction. The project scope includes widening Route 4 with additional lanes, constructing a grade-separated overpass for private vehicles above the intersection to alleviate congestion, developing new Public Transport Lanes (PTLs), and building six Metronit platform stations, among other associated works.
